Holy Light Candle

Good evening everybody

I hope you've all had a fabulous Christmas and managed to spend some time with loved ones.

I've not done a lot of crafting in the last few days, but did manage to make this candle to give to my Mother-in-law with her Christmas card.

The image is Holy Light by LOTV and it has been coloured with Copic pens.   Stickles have been used for her wings.   Little rhinestone gems have been dotted randomly around the image.

I would like to enter this into the LOTV Challenge - Anything but a card

Enjoy the rest of the weekend and thank you for visiting, it is really appreciated.

Numbers at Winter Wonderland

Good morning

Well it's Friday, the last one before Christmas.  My son's school breaks up today for their Christmas holidays and I only have to work today and Monday then I'm off until 3rd January - YIPEEEEEE!

Today sees a new challenge starting over at Winter Wonderland and the theme this week is:

Numbers
(As many of you have finished your Christmas cards/projects for the next few weeks
we are giving you the option of either Christmas or Non Christmas, however please remember to stick to the theme of the challenge and have a number somewhere
on your card/project.)

Here is my DT card (guess what - yup I'm still making Christmas Cards. New Year's resolution - I will be more prepared next year!)

The image is the gorgeous James - Christmas Tree by LOTV and it's been coloured with Copic markers.  Flower soft has been added to the bobble and trim on James' hat.  The paper is from Christmas Post by Craftwork Cards.  The ribbon is from my craft stash and the number "25th" has been cut using my Cricut.

We are sponsored by My Crafty Heart and one lucky winner will receive a £10 voucher to spend online.

Please pop on over to the Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog to see the fabulous inspiration from the design team.

Good morning

Another Thursday has come around quickly.  As well as being time for some inspiration from the Digital Delights Design Team  it's the first Thursday of the month which means 'New Release' and Wendy has created some gorgeous Christmas images.

I had Snowflake Shelly to play with and you can find her in the Digital Delights store.

The image has been coloured with Copic pens and glitter, I think I went a bit overboard with the glitter!

The background papers are from the Heavenly Digital kit by Nitwits and the sentiment is from the Christmas Hugs Sentiments Set by Digital Delights.  The snowflakes were made using two Martha Stewart punches which have been heat embossed with WOW (Sparkling Snow Embossing Glitter) embossing power .

1st December today, where did November go?  It will soon be Christmas. As it's the start of the month it means that we have a brand new challenge over at Ready Teddy Go and this month the theme is:

Contemporary Christmas

This is what I did.  (I'll apologise now for the terrible photo - I had to use light and they have made the colours appear washed out.  Trust me they are better in real life!)

The image is a stamp from Wild Rose Studio called "Christmas Teddies" which has been coloured with Copic pens.

The background papers are Nitwits "Heavenly".  Embellishments include pom pom trim and seam binding (Ribbon Girl), snowflakes (Joy Die) and the sentiment is Grunge Christmas Postmarks (LOTV).
